Broken conection between computer and screen. must move screen to make it work

Hi, It sounds like you have left off the connector for the inverter (the lights). Depending on the screen there will be two small connectors for the lights (one each side) which need to be connected to the small logic board below the screen.

try to pres the sleep button after the computer sleep (indicates from the indicator ligh) than press slep buton again
if that is make your screen coming on it because the batery or the power, but if theres nothing than try to reinstll the Operatig System
if your screen dosn't appear from the start maybe caused by 4 problem
1. maybe your flexible cable that conected the mainboard to lcd (screen) is untigh or broken
2. your screen is broken
3. your lcd inverter need to be replaced
4. your vga is crash
to identifying try to conect to the external display like monitor if on the monitor appear it maybe caused the problem no 1-3
try to open your up panel (up side of the keyboard) try to tigh the cable (usually have black power) make it tigh and tape it using duck tape

more information is needed for this question to be answered properly
im going to guss that this is your conection cable from video card to your monitor
try disconecting and reconecting the cable making shur that the cable is firmly conected at both ends
its posible that part of the tower case is preventing the full insertion of the cable into the socket
cut away 1/8 inch of the ruber shielding around the pc side of the cable so that it can fully be inserted into the conection
check that the pins on the male conection arn't bent or broken off

also run your closed hand down the cable itself checking for cracks cuts or breaks in the cable

if any problem is seen replace the cable if any pins are broken off check the femal reciver for the broken of part of the pin so as to not damage anothere cord

im afraid that your screen is broken, but try to move the screen foward and backward littlebit, my friend also have the same problems and only by contact local support using his warranty the problems fix, you may open your laptop to see if something wrong with the wire but i think its not practically good.

try to desconnect or unplug your hard drive, if you see a black screen with a bunch of white letters, you hard drive is crashed, if not try to conect a second monitor (external) tru you vga connector, if work fine you have a lcd problem===>>>reemplace asap.

And after opening it you can do your work. Make sure the flexible cables connecting the top screen part of your DS are well in place and not broken. Your problem may be only a loosen cable but in case the cable is broken you gonna need a replacement. Be careful not to damage the screen or other sensitive electronic parts on your device and you will be on your way.
