Well recently my samsung D900i has been playing up turning off by itself sometimes and not being able to be turnt on till battery was taken out and put back in the, then today i opened up a text and i got a load of lines on the screen then it went black and is staying black... is there anyway i can fix this without having to pay for its repair? also how can i set up call diverts to another phone on there as in the numbers to press to get to the option as i cannot see

Sounds like the ribbion between the slider has a tare in it. this is only repairable if you have a parts phone with a good ribbion. If your phone is under warranty don't try and fix it your self! Also if your phone has gotten wet at some point it could have water damage, Buy a new phone! Good luck!
I expect this will be becuase the wap/gprs settings that are on the handset will still be the t-mobile ones. Simply unlocking the phone doesn't change these. If you know what the settings are you will need to create a new data account for this to work. If you don't have the settings, you'll need to get onto vodafone to get the settings. A call to the customer services should do the trick. The d900i still being a relatively new handset should mean that they are able to send you the settings in a sort of text message - meaning no work required - bonus!!!
