Most printer nowadays are USB (flat slot about 1/2 inch wide, 3/16 inch high). You should have some of these on your PC somewhere. Any one will do.

Upon completion of OCR scanning, why does the printer make a grinding noise?


When you scan the document, the laser module moves on from the start point of the location to the end point of the location boundary for scanning the document and then it comes back to the initial position to the start point, so while moving the laser module it makes some sound. Still it is advised to take the printer to the nearest Canon Service Center to check if it requires any servicing. Please find the link below:

Red light flashing fs slow


Question is not clear., which red light flashing?...

Which portal do i plug my printer into


Usually all printer right now can be connected to the USB port of a computer its the small rectangular shape and usually located at the back and front side of your computer tower and if you have a laptop its located on the side panel of the laptop.

Usually the black goes in the right pot and the color to the left..There is usually a difference with the cartridges so that they will not be interchagable in the left or right. Also the color on the tops usually match the pot they go in...
