Are you printing from a mac or PC and are you printing out of Photoshop?  If so which version?

My R1800 was printing fine then it starting printing everything real magenta, I replaced several ink carts and now it prints everything a sepia. I've replaced drivers and profiles and I'm having no luck so far.

I have the same problem. Your printer head is clogged. You can use the head cleaning utility within Epson. However, if that doesn't work, you may need to use a head cleaning solution.

create a doccument with four identical lines of text.
the text should be as follows:
your text in the colour Black, the cyan, then yellow then magentta
see if they print in the colours you used, if they are all wrong then delete all drivers associated with the printer and delete the printer, then follow the install proceedure again to reinstall, if just one colour is wrong the it is most likely a deffective cartridge.

My Officejet 6000 E609n printer doesn't print the correct colors. The red is printing yellow and the blue and green are a lighter version of what is on the screen. I have cleaned the printer head

Hi,

This is not a cartridge issue. IT is Printhead issue. Since you have done the manual cleaning, it is now time to replace the Printhead.

Either the ink you are using is not going to give the color you want, or you have print heads that are blocked.

Here are the directions for Tec Color correction. If this doesnt work then replacing the print head is the most likely solution. The TekColor correction options provide simulations of different color devices. Automatic is the default correction for general image processing. Use the following table to determine what option you want to use. TekColor Description Automatic Applies the best color correction to each graphic element: text, artwork, and photographs Office Color sRGB Display: Approximates the colors on a computer display. sRGB Vivid: Produces brighter, more saturated colors than sRGB Display. Press Match SWOP Press: Matches specifications for Web Offset Publications. Euroscale: Matches Fogra glossy paper specification. Commercial: Approximates U.S. commercial press target. SNAP Press: Matches specifications for Newsprint Advertising Production. None Applies no color correction. Use with other color management tools, such as International Color Consortium (ICC) profiles, ColorSync, or the PANTONE Color Chart for the printer. Black & White Converts all colors to shades of gray From the workstation, select the color correction in a supported driver. Microsoft Windows 98 SE / ME / 2000 / XP/ Server 2003 / NT 4.x Operating Systems (OS): NOTE: Some of the color corrections are grouped under Office Color or Press Match. 1. Within an application, click [File] from the toolbar, and then select [Print] from the menu. The Print window will be displayed. 2. Click on the [Properties] button located on the top, right of the window. The Properties window will be displayed. 3. Click on the [TekColor] tab. 4. Select the required color correction. Apple Macintosh OS 9.x: 1. Within an application, click [File] from the toolbar, and then select [Print] from the menu. The Print window will be displayed. 2. Click on [General], and then select [TekColor] from the pull-down menu. 3. Select the required color correction. Apple Macintosh OS X, (version 10.2 and higher): 1. Within an application, click [File] from the toolbar, and then select [Print] from the menu. The Print window will be displayed. 2. MacBook Pro Epson Print Driver Dilemma

your problem is about profiles. The gutenprint is the only way to print from intel to r1800, but this driver don't use the same ICC profiles. You have to use one of three solutions below:
1 the best, you have a profile calibrating device, you make a profile of your couple ink-paper and you convert your document into this ICC profile.
2 you convert your picture into your software in one of the Epson generic profiles (hey probably still are on your computer) and you print whithout color managment
3 (awful) you anticipate the color distorsion and you tune your picture to be bad on the screen but pretty good on paper.
