If you are referring to the pressure relief button then this can be repaired. Turn off the water on inlet and outlet, take the housing off and remove filter. There is a small washer under relief button that can be replaced. Unscrew the button from inside of head to repair.

Hi gas is leeking from where the red bung goes on the top of the valve when the knob is depressed to ignite? jim

It sounds like the seal is gone and not holding. Turn the gas off to the unit and call a qualified service man to replace the valve. These valves are non-repairable and can only be replaced. Be ready for the price of a new valve, they are not cheap. Are you sure the leak is coming from underside of knob? Sometimes the pilot tubing line will start leaking at the fitting on the gas control valve and if so it will leak when the knob is pushed in.

My dewalt 2 gal air compressor model D55141, when on hisses inside the pump housing. Sounds like a leek. Some pressure builds.

More than likely is leek. Must get to it to look at connections and air line to find out If slow probably would hear it. But loud you will find it. Tighten connections if it's there, other wise replace line

Fuel leek from the carbs overflow

Hi, Neil and the usual suspects are:
1. Damaged or restricted fuel tank venting system.
2. Loose float bowl screws.
3. Damaged float bowl o-ring.
4. improper fuel level in the float bowl.
5. Worn or dirty inlet valve or seat.
6. Damaged or leaking float assembly.
7. Particle contamination in inlet fitting cavity.
Good luck and have nice a day.

My 91 honda prelude is leeking oil and its smokes when hot but cant figure out where its leeking from

easiest way is to get the dye and poor it into your engine. Then with the dye light you will be able to track the source. On those years the most likely spot was the intake manifold gasket and valve cover gasket. You also could have a blown head gasket that only blew on a oil intake side, doesnt mean that you would over heat

Combi boiler wont re-pressurize when i turn the little valve under boiler it just seems to run and run and the pressure gauge dosent go up at all? there are no leeks. but a minute a go it went right up to...

the little valve is a one way type. this means the pressure should only flow one way. it's a good chance that the valve body is allowing the pressure to back flow. i would replace that valve. this should take care of it. please rate this thanks

Check to see if your pressure relief valve is partially open. This is about all it could be unless you are losing flame under the boiler vessel.

Thanks
