Question about HP Compaq Business Desktop dc5750 - No Monitor (3434507)
I am looking to replace my internal hard drive for my pc due toitsageand errors that keep occuring. my question is can i replaceaninternaldrive by using an external drive. or does it have to beaninternaldrive as the primary
The primary can be an external drive, but you must modify the boot order in the BIOS to do it. I would highly suggest not doing this though, because you will take a huge performance hit and have to deal with obvious aesthecial problems. Some operating systems will also not allow you to do so.
