Question about Krups FBC4 1600 Watts Toaster Oven with Convection Cooking
Based on the markings on the sockets, there are 400W ones in the center and 600W ones on the front and back. That adds up to 1600W on each, the advertised total. So be sure you have the correct replacement. After removing the cover you will see that each one has spring connectors.

you can touch the element but be carefull the glass is thin .... so scrape it and do what you can . THEN USE A COTTON BALL AND ALCOHOL and clean the element that will get rid of the oil you left behind ,you will be fine ......Please if this answer helped , please rate this 3 or 4 stars . and keep me in the paid answer department . Most of the time a hardware store will have a variety of springs or try home depot.
That's if you only don't want to wait for a manufactors spring.
