When i turn on the dishwasher and cycle has run and its finised . the dishes come out cold and wet

sounds if the drying cycle isn't working , most washers use a small blower fan to move air thru chamber 2 dry dishes , these little fans do rust up over time and need replaced sometimes , id say finding fan and cking it for rust and freedom of movement is a first step in this , most times there inside door of machine

Most dishes in any dishwasher are still wet when cycle is finished. The heat built up in the dishes during the washing cycle is what causes the water to evaporate when the machine stops.
If you want to accelerate the evaporation, simply open the door very slightly so that as the hot air escapes it causes the dishes to dry quicker.

Is there anyway to only dry the dishes? Sometimes the dishes don't get all the way dry and I just want to run the dry cycle again. Thanks! Dawn

You could simply open the door at the end of the cycle and let the air do the job. If your dishwasher is controlled by a manual dial, you could open the door, move the timer past the wash cycles stopping on the dry cycle and close the door to start another dry cycle. This option is expensive, by the way.

After i was my dishes they are still wet when finished

Make certain that you have selected "heat" for drying (if available on your dishwasher). If no such selection is available, try using "Jet Dry" that should assist with the water being removed from the dishes, glasses, etc. Some customers elect to open the door to "air dry", but all dishwashers typically have a "heat element" located at the bottom of the tub that dries the dishes, etc.

My new Kenmore Elite panel ready dishwasher leaves wet

You need only enough space so the door does not rub when opened. If the unit is too far back under the cabinet the countertop (if wood) can be damaged by the exhausting moisture. The dry feature on the newer models is just as you describe. The moisture from the hotter dishes evaporates and is condensed on the cooler walls and door of the wash tub. Dry dishes wet tub is normal.

Kenmore Quiet Guard

You dont really need it, when the washer gets done Open the door for a minute and let the steam out and shut the door dishes will then dry. the reason there still wet is because of the steam from the Hot water

No hot water, plates cold and dirty and wet

If you've installed it recently make sure the hot water tap was plumbed in and not the cold water tap, check the hot water tap temp in the house to make sure it's getting warm, there also should be a heating element located inside of the dishwaher that heats up to help the dishes dry at the end of the wash cycle, which is controled by a thermostat. If the heating element or the thermostat are bad your dishes won't dry.

Not Drying

I found that if the rinse agent (Jet Blue) has run out the dishes stay wet.
