The manual you provided from the internet doesnot match my saw. The handle bracket on my saw is diferent than the illistration. My handle bracket must be a newer model. It is solid plastic withno holes for bolts. I guess I'll have to send my wife back to where she bought it to find the proper assembley.
will you refund my $6 dollars?

    Thanks
    john

If you will go here http://www.desatech.com/ and look on the left under Speciality Products, click Chainsaws and then from the drop down menu choose your model, you will see the owner's manual in PDF form. You must have Adobe Reader installed to view the manual. If this does not help you please respond with the model and I will look some more.

How do I pick the perfect pole saw?

Want to saw up high, but think it's dangerous to saw on a ladder? Good thinking. So how can you get your saw to reach those high branches while keeping your feet planted on the ground?

Take a lightweight chainsaw, add a stick, and you get a pole saw.
TYPE There are three types of pole saw. You can choose any one of them based on your requirements.
CORDLESS POLE SAW Cordless pole saws are said to be the handiest pole saw as it removes the hassle of carrying wires and cords during pruning. It operates through a rechargeable battery. But, due to its battery pack, its operation time is very specific. If you want to extend the time for heavy duties, you can use extra battery packs.
One of the best advantages of cordless pole saw is its need for low-maintenance. You would hardly need to maintain its well-being.
GAS POWERED POLE SAW Gas powered pole saws are mostly chosen by the professionals for its heavy-duty bars and chains and have the power to cut huge and large branches with ease. This pole saw can be extended up to 9 inches so you might distinguish its expertise in trimming high rise trees. It is good for regular use. It is heavier than the electric one and noisy also. Despite being heavy, you would not face any problem working with it as the pole saw is easy to balance.
ELECTRIC POLE SAW Electric pole saws are preferred for small branches trimming as it has blades of 6"-10". It weighs about 10 pounds that means you can carry the saw effortlessly. It does not require high maintenance as well. Plug the long extension cord before you start, aim at the branches and begin pruning with this electric pole saw.

108526-1 pole saw

I bought this chain without first examining the "count" of my old chain. I found this new chain had 39 drive-links while my OLD chain had 40 links. My 10" Remington saw had enough chain-tensioning adjustment to compensate for that missing link and this new 39-link chain runs fine... cuts very well. Happy.

Am I wise to purchase a Remington Pole Saw or should look for another manufacturer? Which Remington Pole Saw would you purchase: a. 18V Cordless b. 10" Electric

Remington Saws have ceased operations and, unless you like to make your own replacement parts, they are prone to failure. The gearbox is sealed and the motor brushes are not available anywhere. Look elsewhere!

No, the largest electric pole chain saw that can be attached to a pole with the Remington Pole Saw kit, is a 10" saw.
