My desktop picture is not coming up on my computer monitor

  1. Open Desktop Background by clicking the Start button, clicking Control Panel, clicking Appearance and Personalization, clicking Personalization, and then clicking Desktop Background.

  2. Click the picture or color you want for your desktop background.

If the picture you want to use is not in the list of desktop background pictures, click the Picture location down arrow to view other categories, or click Browse to search for the picture on your computer. When you find the picture you want, double-click it. It will become your desktop background and appear in the list of desktop backgrounds.

Hi, how are you?

To set a wallpaper, just right click on the image and SET as wallpaper.

images need to be on the resolution which fits the resolution you are using on your display.

Otherwise you will see blurry images.

The computer displays logos from the manufacturer during, before programs are loaded onto the screen. Once a program has been selected with movie functionalities, several sequencies of pictures make up movies. I powered off my Dell Optiplex 745 as normal one night before bed. The next morning I went to turn it on and it just displayed a yellow flashing light where it normally displays a green light. The fan did...

Hello,

This model has been having problems with the motherboard that can cause that exact problem, Not powering up, Flashing yellow light or locking up right after booting up. The first thing to check is parts called capacitors on the motherboard. We have an article posted on our web site at: http://www.ccl-la.com/blog/index.php/dell-optiplex-745-repair/ that has detailed pictures and information about this issue. The pictures are of the tower case Optilpex 745 but the board is the same for your unit. Check it out and see if your board has this issue. If you can solder then you should be able to fix it yourself for less than $15.00 If your board does not have the bad capacitors then the blinking yellow light is a failure in the power supply unit.

I hope this helps, if so please rate our solution.

The pictures from sd card freeze when I run the slideshow on my digital picture frame. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what the problem might be.

Does it stop on one particular picture? If so, I would say that you have a corrupt picture file on your SD card.

The picture on the screen as all fuzzy and cant get a clear picture without having a shadow or it being fuzzy

Do you have a led or crt display? It could be just your display settings. Go to control panel /display properties /setting tab / and try changing the screen resolution. If no difference try the color quality. You can change the color bits without hurting any thing. Just remember what you changed it from and to.
If this doesn't help maybe you'll need a new screen.
