Question about ViewSonic N2000 20 in. LCD HDTV

Fuzzy Display Screen works, however the screen is a little fuzzy. What should be causing this effect? Screen was fine with old computer. New computer does not work well. Images, icons, fonts are fuzzy and not very sharp in detail.

Right click on the desktop, click on properties, click on the settings tab and then you should be able to change your resolution if it is a resolution problem.

I otherwise think that the cable may be bad and you may want to try a different cable.

You are not using a splitter correct?

Please keep me updated on this problem.

thanks

Try to reset the device into factory defaults, you should be able to perform that from the menu. then set the native resolution and perform the auto adjustment.

Im not sure is this correct but i beleave your native resolution is

    640 x 480 pixels

you are probably useing a too big resolution and that is causeing the problem.

Half screen

Sounds like a faulty screen, has the laptop been dropped or physically damaged? can you only see half of the screen? if the other half is black and one half "fuzzy" it's most likely that the liquid crystal display has been cracked/broken. The only way to resolve this problem is usually by replacing the screen which in some cases can be as expensive as a new computer :(

Fuzzy screen hp mini laptop

Try updating your graphics driver through Device Manager.

1. Right Click on "My Computer" on your desktop
2. Select "Properties"
3. Go to the "Hardware" Tab
4. Then select the "Device Manager" Button
5. Click on the tiny + next to display adapters
6. Right click on your display adapter and choose "update driver"
7. Follow the instructions and let it search for a better driver

If this doesn't work then you will need to bring it in to a computer shop to have the screen replaced. Get an estimate first before they do any work on it because it might not be cost effective to have it fixed. In which case you can hook it up to a monitor with a VGA cable to still use it, but it won't be portable anymore.

Good Luck!

Ace 1 aspire computers works fine but the screen comes in fuzzy and unclear.

Bad connection from the motherboard to the screen, maybe a loose VGA cable
It could also be an overheated graphics chip, does the display appear to "shimmer" as well as being fuzzy?

Try cahnging the resolution and screen ratio, see if that helps first

Fuzzy, unstable display

This sounds like a high-voltage power supply problem, which would need to be diagnosed by an experienced computer or electronics technician.

Check to see if there is a small focus knob on the back. If so try turning it back and forth three or four times to "clean" it....then adjust for correct focus.

Symptoms like this can also be caused by accumulated dust inside the monitor.

check your sharpness control in the adjustment setup. If its set to max you might or sme sets have a tendancy to look grainy. Also check your source and be sure the signals strong. Such as just adding another tV to a cable line can cause weak signal. Ceck it with another set in its place. If thats the case simply add a small 20.00 cable amplifyer. Good Luck
