Hello

Right click on desktop, select properties, settings, Advanced, Monitor and
see if you can increase the refresh rate - the default is most likely
60MHz - if this is the only setting, then you may need to download and install the monitor drivers from the manufacturers web site. A setting of
85MHz or higher is preferred on the old CRT (Cathode Ray Tubes), most
LCD/Plasma will only run at 60/75 MHz, but they don't use the RGB guns like
CRT does.

Please do not hesitate to let me know if you have any furhter questions.

Kind regards
Andrea

Try a different video card or disconnect the one you have in your PC and use the VGA monitor connection on the motherboard. If it works your video card is gone.

Envision 19" Widescreen Flat-Panel LCD Monitor It just started I have lines that flicker across the screen. How do I stop that it is driving me crazy.

Is there any speaker sets near the monitor or electromagnetic devices near the monitor?

Generally the flicker is caused by some external devices.

I have an Envision Monitor G221 WK which has suddenly started flickering badly. Any suggesions?

Try the auto adjust button first.
Does increasing or decreasing the brightness affect the amount of flickering ?
Flickering is usually a inverter board or a backlight bulb issue. You would have to take it apart to try to tell.
If you do take it apart and if you can send me pictures of the boards to bammbamm@ptd.net. I may be able to see the problems if it has typical issues.

Monitor started to flicker then went blank

I have a envision professional series and I love it, but I will get to the point.
I recent ly received a Envision EN9410e monitor, had the same problem (flickering screen then turned on, then off then on then blank). The problem is bad capacitors. There are 7 electrolytic capXon capacitors that will need to be replaced. You should see if the caps are bulging or leaking, if so replace. As known by many replace with the same capacitance and voltage. There are a few incidences that the capacitors where replaced and the problem wasn’t solved; this is because the cap problem wasn’t taken care of and damage occurred to another part of the monitor. The back light is a Royer oscillator (cool things) and it uses two smd mosfet transistors. They are on the green side of the circuit board near a big control chip (they each look like a off rectangle black square with eight pins) you need to see if there is any carbon or chard residue between the pins or burning smell from them, if there is you need to remove the transistor and do some board repair then ether put a new transistor or try the old one. No offence to the people at Envision but not smart putting the drain, gate and source so close to each other under the chip where there is such high voltage! Hope this helps.

Envision 17" LCD display will not stay on

Seems the N-Channel MOSFET switch in the power supply is the culprit. NTE does not list a replacement part for this, so a sub is necessary (any N-Channel 600V MOSFET in same TO220F case should suffice). I have to look one up for mine.
