THIS IS TO ALL THE FORD EXPERTS AND LINCOLN MASTERS OUT THERE I LOST POWER TO MY AC COMPRESSOR CAN ANY TELL ME HOW TO FIND OUT WHAT HAPPENED AND HOW TO FIX IT ??

there is a high pressure switch in the ac system that cuts power to the compressor when a high pressure situation is recorded
it is there to prevent compressor damage from when the gas is converting to liquid in the compressor
That occurs because the condenser fan is not operating to remove heat from the condenser
so check that the condenser fan ( in front of the condenser ) is working and check that the system is not over full with gas

Compressor and fans do not turn on until rev engine

I passed this question the first time I read it, so I will take a stab at it now.
The fans don't come on until the compressor has pumped the freon pressure up to say 150 or 200 psi. And the compressor clutch has to have voltage to engage the clutch.
I wonder if the clutch is going and needs 14 volts instead of 12 to engage ? Or the relay that powers the clutch ?
Speeding up the engine would increase voltage from the alternator.
This is assuming the serpentine belt is tight and everything else is working correctly.
I think I would swap the relay with another and put a meter on that circuit to the ac clutch to see what it takes to engage it.

Jump air compressor ac works replace relays same issue HONDA

the compressor may be low on freopn but, the fan problem is most likely the fan motor as it is the low temp fan and will run more often than both fans...to test see if you can switch the fan plugin to the other fan watch carefully that it does not get too hot as the second fan is a safety fan that works as high temp or when using the A\C

The compressor on my home ac willnot kick on

The fan and the compressor both run off of the same circuit. Have your husband remove the cover on the condenser coils and check for power at the leads that go to the compressor off of the latching relay. If there is power there, then he needs to check the start capacitor or possibly the thermal overload switch (mounted on side of compressor)
