I have a Daikin mini split system. It is leaking water from the inside unit inside my house. Why?

Dirty? Check your filters, shine a light inside to see blower wheel. Drain plugged? Wetvac on the drain outside.
Otherwise it's a cracked drain pan, bad fitting, drain is trapped multiple times, possible it's low on refrigerant.

Why is my air conditioner spitting water back in the house. These do not have ourside drains on them?

Take the front cover off and use a shop vac to suck the water out, check filter while you do this see if the evap coil is dirty the one on the inside. sounds like it maybe freezing up. check for air flow.

My Frigidaire dishwasher has dirty water.standing in bottom. Dishes are not clean

Two things to consider....clean water or dirty water?

Clean water usually indicates the fill valve is not shutting off all the way and the fill valve is "weeping" water in all the time = new fill valve time!!

Dirty water usually is not a dishwasher problem but more of a plumbing issue. Often the sink drain that carries the sinks water outside is not fast enough and some of this sink water is backing up into the drain hose and filling up the dishwasher through the drain hose. The drain from the sink to outside needs attention as this type of a problem indicates a slow house drain for that sink.

The dishwasher drain line should be clamped to the top underneath part of the counter before entering the sink drain plumbing, this may help the water from coming back inside the dishwasher.

Drain hose mesh filter on end of drain hose clogs

it is a drain hose so there is no need for a filter
the water to drain will be dirty so there is no point in filtering dirty water destined too go down the drain

Once every summer, while we are at work and the ac is adjusted to a higher temperature, the condensor stops working. We always have to call a repair guy and he charges a lot of money. The coils look fine....

The fan that is outside, cools your compressor,so long as the condensor is not dirty or obstructed in anyway, its good to spray it once in awhile so that it can breath, change your filter inside your house
normally if your filter is dirty, the air will not circulate, your compressor will get hot and can be damaged
also by not changing the filter as often as possible the evaprator can get clogged, if the evaporator gets clogged the fan inside the house that is trying to push the cold air will not be able because the fins
on the evaporator are dirty and clogged up. below the evaporator is also a tray that allows water condensation that builds up to drain outside thru a pvc pipe, once in a while put a little vinegar in the pipe and it will keep it from getting clogged up. this pipe is usually located close to your condensor, make sure it can drain easily and is not blocked by brush or anthing. normally needs to be at a slope down so it can drain easily. good luck!

Doesn't filter the water well It is a brand new spa. What can I do besides keep draining and refilling it?

It may be that you need to look at why the water is getting dirty so fast. Do you have a cover in place. are you being careful with additives, etc? If the water is flowing through the filter, it is being filtered. If there are o rings missing or broken, then perhaps there could be some bypass. If this were the case there would likely be water leaking around the filter housing. Perhaps you need a finer filter, or simply a different brand of filter. Unless there is some heavy or abundant particle being added to your water, or really dirty feet on a regular basis, you should not need to empty and refill at all frequently. I suppose it would be good to ask how often you are emptying it, that would help with further diagnosis. we will get your issue sorted out. I'll work with you on it until it is solved to your satisfaction. Regards, Farmerbear at FixYa.com

Looking for fuel filter on 2004 chevy silverado ss 6.0, not on frame rail

Here is the steps for the removal and replacement...getting you the picture and location next. 6.6L Engine
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cables.
  2. Drain the fuel from the fuel filter as follows:
    • Install a hose on the water drain on the water-in-fuel sensor.
    • Place the other end of the hose into an approved container.
    • Drain as much fuel as possible from the fuel filter housing.
    • Tighten the water drain on the water-in-fuel sensor.
  3. Remove or disconnect the following:
    • Water-in-fuel sensor harness connector
    • Fuel filter from the fuel filter/heater element housing
    • Water-in-fuel sensor from the fuel filter

To install:
  1. Install or connect the following:
    • Water-in-fuel sensor in the fuel filter
NOTE Check the fuel filter/heater element housing and the filter for a dislocated filter seal or foreign debris. Contamination on the filter/heater housing may cause leakage at the fuel filter. Coat the seal with clean engine oil.

    • Fuel filter on the fuel filter/heater element housing
    • Water-in-fuel harness connector
    • Negative battery cables
  2. Prime the fuel system:
    • Pump the primer located on top of the fuel filter 30 times or until stiff.
    • Try to start and run the engine. If the engine does not start, repeat the previous step.
    • Allow the engine to run for 5 minutes at idle.
    • Check for fuel leaks and clear all Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs).
