Auto convergence is gone from

- Thats usually a problem on the deflection board a fusible link and capacitor usually goes open and that makes the TV act like a direct view and the convergence menu will drop from the menu

- They try to get you to replace the board as most shops wont do component level repairs any more as their labor rates are two high its easier for them to charge 400 for the board and another couple hundred labor. If you need a good deal on a new deflection board go to this site that i am posting and leave them a email telling them your model number and they can get you a new replacement at a decent price with free tech support to help yopu either install the new board or fix your old one.
