Phone lock code N 73

Sir I switched off the cellphone
waited 15 minutes
entered Menu ...tools...settings......security...phone and sim....lock code ...
Here it asks for a lock code ..which i have forgotten,...

WHATEVER I ENTER IT SAYS ENTER NEW LOCK CODE AND THEN IT SAYS RE ENTER NEW LOCK CODE AND AFTER THAT SAYS CODE ERROR

I entered 5335036136 the code you gave me but it ain't working and it is not asking for a master code...if tried many times
It just says ... lock code entered incorrect five times phone will unlock in five minutes...
Please guide what to do...
....

IMEI is 356406017443168

The Phone has never been in anyone else's hands and the IMEI number i found was by pressing *#06# ... So i dont think that the IMEI is Wrong ...
Sir..When i enter the code given by you ... even after 15-20 minutes it says that the lock code entered incorrect 5 times it will
unblock in 5 minutes... but i entered only once and even after entering
that code once, it says so... That means ...the code u gave me is
something... but may be something else is also wrong with the phone...
shall i upgrade the firmware by NSU...again...Will it reset the code to 12345

Please Help

Yes you can use NSU ,if you are knowing how to use it because i think the code i genearated for your mobile is not working ,it may happen ,it is not necessary that the code generated by my will work on all the mobile.....ok

Security code N 73

What do you mean by Security code.

SIM pin code:
This is a pin code that locks the sim card until you enter the correct code. This protects your account, even
if your sim is put into another handset. To reset it, you need the PUK code:
Pin Unlock Code (PUK)
If you miss key (or forget) your SIM pin code, and enter the wrong one 3-5 times in a row, the SIM will lock up, and you’ll need to enter the PUK unlock code to release it. You should ask your Network Service Provider for this code when you need it. Don’t try to guess it, because after a few wrong guesses, the SIM card will be permanently disabled.
Phone Security Code:
This locks the handset, as opposed to the sim card. You can also set some handsets to only accept a “new” sim if the phone security code is entered. To reset it, you need the Master code code:
Master Reset Code
Sometimes known as the Master Code, this allows you to unlock a handset if you have entered the Security Code wrongly too many times.
Which is the one that you want?
Special Code/Service Provider Lock Code:
This code is required to allow a phone locked to a particular network's SIM cards to be used with a SIM card from another network. Orange and T-mobile lock handsets in this way, though O2 and Vodafone are beginning to lock PAYG and WAP handsets. The unlock code varies from individual handset to handset.
Blacklisting:
This is not a security code, but it works like one! To help combat mobile phone thefts, the networks share a database of the IMEI (International Mobile Equipment Identity) of mobile phones that have been reported stolen. Once a phone is on this list, it will not be allowed to use any of the networks.
This can be a risk if you buy a second-hand phone, because if it has been stolen, or if an unscrupulous seller makes an insurance claim after selling, the phone you bought in good faith may be permanently disabled.
Be very careful to check the source of a second-hand phone!
-----------------------------
The default security code for Nokia is 12345
IMEI: 356406017443168
Master code: 5335036136
Take your SIM card out first.

This is the code needed to reset the Security code, nothing else, and it’s for your phone only. You type in the security codes (anything) until the phone request the Master code; when it does, leave your phone still, don’t use it for 15 minutes, then type in the Master code.

Help help N 73 Phone security code

hello there....well its quite simple...there is nothing wrong with your phone ...its your SIM... if it is asking for a PUK (Personal Unblocking Key) code...call your subscriber and ask them for PUK code, entering this code will reset your sim

if u keep entering wrong your sim will be damaged so call them

If the error message is saying sim damaged call them and ask for a "sim replacement" you will get a new sim while you will retain the same number ,however you will lose the phone numbers and other data stored in sim, this can be free but it depends on the company and how 'customer friendly they are

Hope this help
Cheers
