If it is washer dryer, then it does not need ventimg, as it is a condenser type dryer, which condenses the steam back to wate therefore no hose neededr

Wd440 not drying. how does the fluff get emptied?

Because it is a washer dryer, there is no fluff filter to clean.
It is self cleaning, because the fluff is washed away by cold water entering the condenser and flushing the fluff away.
Trust this answers your query.

I have a hotpoint wd640 washer dryer: are you meant to clean the filter for the dryer, and if do where is it?!

The dryer part of the appliance does not have a seperate filter to clean as such, as the fluff and lint is cleared away by a constant supply of cold water coming in on the drying cycle.

Hotpont aquarius condenser dryer wont heat

There are a number of reasons for dryer not to heat, first and foremost is failure of the stats and or element. You will find these located behind a removable cover at rear of dryer.
If you know how to use a meter, then test these for continuity.
If o/k then it gets more involved as there are several other possibilities and you need to know what you are doing.
The only other thing to check is that all the filters and air inlet and outlet vents are clean, particularly the one at the front left. pull out and wash under running water to flush all fluff out.

Dryer runs no water enters condenser draw, empty water light on.

Remove the filter draw on the bottom left, and wash out under running water to flush out all fluff.
Reach inside opening and clean as much fluff anf gunge as you can from the cavity.
Get a plastic bag tie, reach and feel for a small at the rear of the compartment, and poke hole clear..
If this does not solve the prob, then it is probably a sticking or faulty float valve., or switch.
This involves a complete strip down to access these components.

Hotpoint dryer CTD00

Remove the lint filter at the front bottom left of dryer, and run water through it to clean all the fluff out. Clean the other filter, and make sure the air vents air clear.
Before you replace the bottom filter reach inside the opening and remove any build up of fluff and gunge that you can ,get a plastic bag tie or similar and feel for and poke clear a small hole that is located there.
I f it still does not work, then the element and or stats are probably faulty.

Tumble dryer not heating/drying

To check the element and stats, you need to remove the rear panel of the dryer, there you will see the stats and the element, you need to check for contin uity with a meter set on the ohms range, do it with the stats disconnected, or you will get a false reading.. if one of the stats has gone, then you must replace both of them.
Check thst all filters are clean ,air intake and outlet clear, and wash the lower fluff filter out under a running water supply.
If still no joy ,then could be a control unit prob..
Plz rate my solution
Thanks.

Hotpoint Aquarius WD22 Dryer functions, as in turns and blows, but NO hot air

The only thoughts that spring to mind, are either...

A: The dryer heater has packed up.

B: The tube/funnel that the air flows through to the drum is blocked with fluff.

In either case you'll need to take the lid and sides off, locate the dryer duct then find a way of opening it to clean the fluff out.

If you need any more help, message me.

no the steam from the dryer part comes out of outlet tube the same tube were the water comes out hotpoint washer/dryers use a condensing chamber which allows the steam to cool down a pass through it as water does and through the outlet pipe
