Mdl34, Your monitor is listed as "time to retire" and get new unit on retrevo .com You might try "reseating" all the connections to the monitor and vga connector on the pc. examine all the connector "pins" in the cable connector and note any damaged or bent, crushed pins. Try moving monitor to a "known-good" fully booted pc to see if same problem occurs. Swap-in a good monitor to your pc to prove that pc is operating correctly. 12fixlouie
