M670 notebook not charging when plugged in

I have a new msi m670 notebook and the battery isn't charging when it's plugged in. It just shows a red flashing light. The notebook won't even turn on unless its plugged in. It used to be ok (i've only just started using this notebook) so I don't understand why it's doing this. it's not an old battery.

I'd really apreciate some help! Thanks!

Charge the Battery fully before first use . The red flashing indicator shows that the battery has been deeply or fully discharged . Please Connect your laptop to AC power source and let it remain for well over 10 hours atleast. If the battery pack is alive it might recover and start working normally.

Which boot device should I select

You question is not clear: what do you mean about a "boot device" for your MSI M670 Notebook?
If your MSI M670 Notebook won't boot, you have a problem with some boot file, boot sector or even with your hard drive.
You should make a dianosis to your notebook with a bootable repair CD. A greatv tool might be Hiren's BootCD 15.2

Your best bet would be a local repair shop. No one "sells" these as aftermarket products. Try ebay

Battery is not charging when plugged

It is critical that you report early problems immediately to the manufacturer, some like DELL have a 15 day return policy. Otherwise you must follow their warranty repair instructions. Could be the battery, the charger or the motherboard.
