Question about Audio Players & Recorders

2 Answers

I have a Wharfedale WH-DVD2006iPod Micro HiFi system. From new I have been unable to play anything from the USB or SD card input. The manual simply states that to select these inputs one presses the 'USB' button on the remote to switch between the DVD, USB or SD inputs. Pressing the button only appears to access the DVD/CD drive. The SD card is set up with a number of albums in MP3 format which is reconised by Windows Media player OK. The USB drive also has many albums set up in the same format. Neither seem to be reconised by the input. As I bought the unit to use specifically with USB/SD input this is a pretty hopeless state of affairs. Or am I be really thick and missing soemthing?

This is effectively a brand new device - I cannot see how a condition where 'the memory is no longer sufficient' can exist.

There is no facility to reformat the player. The SD card I am using is also new and newly formatted.

Well before you get too far along in testing and wondering, does this unit have a warrantee?
If so usually 1 year bumper to bumper...lol...call the factory direct and ask them you may even find they have a quick fix over the phone, a warrantee for you to get it done for free, and perhaps even a recall on this specif problem, go this route first when all else fails we will start the tests.
Happy iPodding!!!

When i try to format my micro sd card system shows remove write protect how can i format it

Hi, i have here a photo that will show you on how to remove write protect on a micro SD.
1. You need to insert your micro SD into an adapter. 2. Unlock the micro SD through your adapter as shown below. 3. Once done, your micro SD is no longer write protected. eibraz_16.jpg

NOTE: The lock switch doesn't lock the micro SD into the adapter; The lock switch doesn't lock the data on the micro SD; The lock switch simply tells the "user" not to write. It just says "please, don't write me."
I hope this helps.

How do you put your micro sd card in the computer?

if theres a slot for an sd card on your computer you need a micro sd card adapter. if it doesnt have an sd card slot you need to buy a usb memory card reader (making sure it takes a micro sd card first)

both are widely available in supermarkets/electrical outlets or on ebay/amazon/play etc and are very inexpensive.

How do i load music into my new i856 by boost

according to motorola, this phone has bluetooth and micro SD card slot.
if you have computer with bluetooth, then you can pair the computer and phone and simply send music files wirelessly via bluetooth.
if you dont have bluetooth, then you can buy a cheap usb bluetooth adapter from ebay and have a bluetooth enabled computer, then follow above step.

if you have SD card slot on your computer then you can get a SD card to micro SD card slot adapter from ebay or elsewhere, where you can simply put music on then card from pc and then transfer the card to the phone.

here is the phone manual.for safety read the whole manual.
p.55 for music and p.79 for bluetooth instructions.

How do I instert a micro SD adaptr into a HP windows Vista laptop

micro sd are too small usually, you need a Micro to SD sleeve, you simply slide the micro into an SD size sleeve and then just put it in your SD slot if no micro slot etc, or buy a usb multi card reader , hey presto

kk to add music make sure you syn the phone and the cp do the data and all then put .mp3 on all the media files and see if it works. Then if that doesnt go to computor format the card and then put it in the phone. Otherwise you need new stuff.

How to access SD micro card on sansa e250

I expected to find the new playlists on the SD card as a separate file to access and play. Instead the SD card songs show on up the Sansa menu simply added among the existing songs / artists stored in the Sansa. Its not a solution but they are there. Since using the SD card, my Sansa does databse refresh everytime it starts, whether SD card is in it or not.
