I would try Ebay.com or your local Goodwill computer store, if you have one.

I installed the Hp 1410 all in one but there is no scanner and hp image zone displayed

For your HP PSC 1410 AIO Printer DRIVERS (Select your correct OS your PC),there are 2 drivers files for installation.

1. "HP Officejet and PSC Basic Driver" - Install only printer drivers without any softwares!!
2. "HP Officejet and PSC Full Feature Software and Drivers " - Install only printer drivers with any softwares. You should install this package is you want to use the scanner software.

Hope it helps.

I need to know if an hp scanjet 5470c carries a power cord if not then what gives it power

You need a power cord for this scanner. If you have lost the power cord, you will need to replace it. I'm not sure of the specs for this (whether HP uses a special end like on their laptops).

I hope this helps.

My hp psc 750 the dont scan but the printer work

hi
Clean the upper part of the scanner glass with soft cotton cloth. Ensure their are no visible marks on the glass.

If the printer power cable is connected to the surge protector, connect it directly to the wall jack and then perform power cycle on it.

Follow the steps below to power cycle your all-in-one:

1. Verify that the unit is switched on. Unplug the all-in-one from power and disconnect the connection port.
2. Wait 30 seconds.
3. Plug in the power only.
4. Repeat steps 2-4 two more times.
5. On the third time after plugging the unit into power, reconnect the connection port from the all-in-one to your computer.

After performing power cycle, you need to perform semi-full reset.

Press and hold Cancel and the Left Arrow key on the front panel keypad, while plugging in the power cord.
Put the printer as stand alone and try copying any normal document by placing it on the scanner glass.

Issue persists check if the scanner bulb is glowing and also able to move. If the scanner bulb is either not moving or glowing, the problem is related with hardware and needs to be serviced.

cheers

HELP ME

If you're running XP, you don't need an installation CD. I have that printer/scanner/copier and XP includes the driver. As well you can use XP's All Programs, Accessories, Scanner and Camera Wizard to scan. Unless your laptop has a parallel port or you have a Docking Station or Port Replicator, you'll need a Parallel to USB Adapter (see http://www.usb-ware.com/expresscard-parallel-port-sy-expc34-1p.htm). The cable my printer came with is part number C6680-80003 (see http://www.partshere.com/online/detail.asp?partno=C6680-80003). Hope this helps.
