Hi prah

you can get one from here. But you will need to create a connection to the battery that suits existing sockets. Can you transfer the connecting lead from the old battery the new battery? The battery I have linked you to is a sealed lead acid battery I am sure is the type you need. They have spade connectors on them, that you can also solder to if you wanted to transfer the existing connector to.

How did you get on with sourcing your battery. Would be great if you could close this ticket off with a FixYa... still hanging around in my to do list. Cheers

There are many many possible batteries you can use for this application, from lead acid to Lithium polymer. You will need to determine what type of power connector that will fit your unit's jack then make sure the polarity is correct. You can then wire connector
accordingly to battery you select. Make sure battery exceeds current requirements but voltage. If unit has internal charger, make sure the battery you choose is compatible or use dedicated charger

There is simple no answer to a question like this. It's just an amp. There are no tweaks except volume. What are the speakers and how much undistorted power can THEY handle?

Amps don't 'run' from 'x' to 'y' ohms. The spec you're viewing tells you how it acts with loads at those values so you can plan accordingly. Since they don't mention distortion values with those wattage numbers the power specs are meaningless.

ANY amp driven beyond its 'clean' power limits will start distorting and THAT will kill speakers if not the amp itself. Audible distortion and excessive heat at the amp are signs of stress. The best sound and performance will be somwhere below that point.

http://www.pyleaudio.com/manuals/PDG4000.pdf

It's not clear what is represented in the "XXX Total Watts Power" statements on page 6. I'm guessing that would be what it DRAWS in wall power so you can plan where to plug it in without tripping a beaker.

Hence, given that no amp converts all of its drawn power into audio power since a lot of heat is created, the actual usable audio output wattage would be somewhere closer to maybe 40% of the total divided by how many speakers are driven. No reputable manufacturer specs an amp at 'x watts time y channels'. It's "PER CHANNEL all channels driven" that makes any sense for comparison.

If a car can go 150 miles per hour and has 4 wheels is that 4 x 150 for output if it had only one wheel?

MMP2 seems to have no voltage selector. Manual states power as 230, 240, 110v. I am reluctant to plug my US 110v unit into UK 230v mains. Would appreciate any info?

Check the manual..It's on the Roland site

In that unit , it's most likely an auto-switching power supply ie; universal 105 - 230 volts AC 50-60 hz

Need fuses for samson amp

The manual recommends 4 Amp Slow blow for 115 volt operation or 2 Amp Slow blow for 230 Volt operation for the 201a.

For the 260 Amp manual shows 10 Amp normal for 115 volt operation and 5 Amp nomal for 230 volt operation.

How to hook up a pyramid pro plus 4 channel pb-180px without using rca jacks for 6 by 9s

The pb180 has High Input receptacles on the back end. They are marked High Input and identified as Channels 1&2 left/right, and channels 3&4 left/right. You will need to identify all speaker wires coming from your head unit ( left front +&--) , and so on. You will be sending the speaker wires from the head unit to the pb180's High Inputs. In other words, the front left speaker wires(+&-) from the head unit will go to the High Input Channels 1&2 side, left input of the pb180, and so on, so the speaker wires coming out of the head unit will need to be cut. And LABEL all sets of speaker wires before you cut them! Then on the OUTPUT end of the pb180, you will be sending the wires back to the the respective speaker wires which are going to the speakers. So it's out from head unit to pb180 and out from pb180 to speakers.
Hopefully you have the plugs that Pyramid uses for the speaker wire inputs to the amp. If not you have to get creative, and make up terminals to fit into the input receptacles. Maybe a wire terminal from Radio shack will fit those pins..
Also, if you go on line: Google search "Pyramid auto amps" and click on "SEARCH" (upper right hand) of their Web Page. Plug in your model number like this, pb180, and you'll be able to download the manual for this amp. The manual has a full description of the wiring options.

Hope this was helpful and Good Luck!

Pyramid 14G power supply

Hi.
It very unlikely the voltage went down. I think you should re measure what the voltage should be yes it 13 volt is after the bridge you wil get this with dual 6.5 volt ac from the transformer, they don't change voltage unless you have a short at the output, and if you did you will blow the transformer, is your reading from 2 wires or is it three wires, output, the center to the end should be 6.5 and end to end maybe 13.8.
I would need to see the schematic to know what voltage you should be getting.
I wouldn't look on a bat transformer but ether, bad bridge or wireing.

I hope this help's
