the camcorder works fine but wheni try to playback the disc on pc, or dvd player it wont show footage, i am using maxell dvd-r 30min discs

first remove your battery and connect the camcorder to the charging unit via the lead supplied...tunr on camcorder , wait till "access disc" is complete, then press the disc navigation button, then press menu, then use arrow keys on toggle switch to scroll down to capacity/finalize disc, sellect finalize , press toggle switch to finalize disc... this takes about 7 mins depending on disc capacity.. once completed your disc will play on your pc and dvd player no problem..... hope this helps you out .....
