After you remove the old parts and the remaining silicon, apply a new bead of silicon and then seal the stationary portion using a piece of 1" pvc as a driver with a mallet; once seated give the part about a day for the silicon to fully cure. Press the rotating assembly around the impeller sleeve. Be sure NOT TO TOUCH the seal faces as you install them and that they are clean once you are finished or the new seal will leak right away.
