Isolate filament voltage from CRT,i.e. unplug Crt socket from pix tube.Measure filament voltage on CRT PCB.If present,suspect bad pix tube.If missing,solder any/all connects in filament circuit,meaning CRT board first then main PCB.

to reset parental password : turn off tv / simultaneously press and hold volume - on the
front panel and clear on the remote for 5 seconds
then just enter a new password next time your in the parental menu
so you will need the remote to do this

You might have to enter its service mode option to unlock it. Visit the site named 'Electro-help' for more details. Check this link and select the site named above. View it in 'Flip card' option, which can be selected from the drop down box menu at the left top corner or the display window. It will make search easy.
