Question about Craftsman 118 pc Dual Marked Mechanics Tool Set
Check the fuel filter, air filter, and muffler for plugging. Check the fuel lines for decay or other damage. Remove the carburetor and check the impulse passage that runs from the crankcase, through the gaskets and heat insulator, to the carburetor base--these impulses cause the carburetor to pump fresh fuel into itself. You may need to clean the carburetor inside and out with spray carburetor cleaner. Check the diaphragm in the lower chamber for softness and no damage. Go to: http://www.drystacked.com for a 12 page article on Walbro brand carburetors for theory and troubleshooting--this applies to other brand carburetors as well. Hope some of this helps!
