Question about Maytag SkyBox MBV1976A Beverage Dispenser
Power on unit will run for five minutes then cycle off for 20 min , never get cold. thermostat set for max cool. the thermostat will "click" whem the compressor is running but have no "click" when the compressor is not running. The thermostat also has some kind of bare copper wire running down to the compressor area. ??? I noticed that there are two output connectors on the thermostat, the one it was connected to has no power when the unit has cycled off and thats probably why it does not get cold. I switched the output to the other connector and the thermostat does not seem to work but the unit will get very cold. Do I need a new thermostat? and what is that wire running to the compressor area? I also noticed that the fan is not turning when I open the door. firstname.lastname@example.org
Please help, my skybox is not getting cold at all, I hear the relay on the compressor clicking. and the fan spinning, is it the thermostat, because when i turn knob nothing happens.
