Trying to descale Miele coffee system-- keep getting alternating faults --10 or 17.

These codes relate to a water supply problem. If this is a plumbed system then check the water is turned on and hoses are not kinked. There is also a valve at the bottom of the water container outlet that may be clogged. Other than this its an internal fault with flow meter or coffee/hot water pump. Regards

E5 error on Onida washing machine Need solution

5E. This means the washing machine has a "water drain error". It's basically timed out on empty, it's tried draining out the water for 10 minutes and the water level still hasn't fallen below a specified level (or at least it thinks it hasn't). This error should be reset by pressing the Start/Pause button though if there is a fault it will need fixing or the error will just return.
A washing machine not emptying the water can have various causes as can a washing machine thinking it hasn't drained the water because it's possible that the signal telling the machine that the water has gone can sometimes not be triggered if a fault in the pressure system prevents it.
To troubleshoot this problem the first thing to check is the pump filter, which could be blocked. I have extensive advice on diagnosing pump faults here Washing machine won't drain water (stuck full of water) ' Faults on pressure system

Water system fault

remove the water container. there is a hole under it that goes down to the sump. if you have a shop vac that will **** water, use it to remove the water through that hole. if not, you can do it with a sponge but it will take a while. remove the water and start using it again. if it happens again, you will need to remove the top of the machine and locate the leak.

I have a Bosch 21e instantaneous water heater attached to a Hills evacuated tube system. On cloudy winter days when we use the washing machine on warm the heater has an intermittent fault for a couple of...

Wild guess, but washing machine use solenoid valves that turn on and off instantly, causing a great deal of hammering of the entire water system.
Regardless of whether or not this fixes your current problem, you really should install a large air canister to buffer the shock in the system. Normally I would suggest installing in the cold line just after it enters the house, but with your solar heating system, you need one after it as well, because there is quite a bit if switching going on. It is quite possible the switching is the problem and not the Bosch heater. Try bypassing the Hills system and see if that helps?

Water system fault is the readout on the window

Water leaking inside the coffee maker. Remove water tank. Use a turkey baster and place it inside a hole, where the water tank houses into. **** water out, which is causing your fault message - "Water System Fault." Only thing you can do is make sure water tank cover/lid is put on properly (correctly oriented) and replace seal ring where water tank spout inserts into. If problem returns, then there is a serious leak inside the unit.

Dishwasher adp 4601 when switched on the pump activates.and after 2 mins start lamp bliks and pump goes off

The number of flashes indicates the fault. Reset machine by holding down the start button for 3 secs, then start a new cycle. If fault reoccurs, the number of flashes indicates fault eg 3 flashes, stop, 3 flashes stop, indicates F3 fault.
Faults listed below- advice on repair depends on which fault your machine is indicating, but may give you an idea of what to look for
1flash=NTC (temperature sensor) break- NTC outside normal range.
2flash=water leakage-float switch in base activated.
3flash=heating fault(check element.NTC,control board).
4flash=drain error-blockage in pump or drain system,or faulty water indicator switch.
6flash=water inlet fault-check inlet valve, check inlet hose not kinked
7flash=flow meter failure (flow meter measures water intake volume-large plastic weir located on left hand side of machine-reomve side panel to access)
These a most common faults, but further advice on repair requires counting flashes when fault occurs.

Fault

Found this online and the solution worked for me. Just fill the water container!

What if F 10 shows?
– No water can be pumped from
the water tank.
– F 10 also shows, if the water tank
was not filled correctly during
descaling.

– Fill the system with water. See "Before
using the coffee system for the first
time".
– Remove and reinsert the water tank.
– Refill to the mark and restart descaling.
– If the message still shows, contact
Technical Service
