Question about Sony KP-46WT500 46" Rear Projection HDTV-Ready Television
I have a bad converg. ic where would i go to get the parts, is this something i could do or does a technician have to do it?
If you have experience soldering on solid state printed circuit boards and know how to take out the old IC, install thermal paste, resolder in a new IC and re-convergenge the TV set, yes it can be done by the owner. If you are not experienced soldering, my best advice would be to call in a tech to assist you in this repair. Good luck
