Question about Dell Inspiron 6000 Notebook

How can I get rid of Dreaded blue screen of death?

My Dell Inspiron 6000 laptop is showing, STOP: c000021a {Fatal System Error} The Windows Logon Process system process terminated unexpectedly with a status of 0xc0000005 (0x00000000 0x00000000). The system has been shut down.

How do I go about by repairing this? And if so can I just start all over and reinstall Windows XP? But I do not have the disk and my warranty for this dell ended in November. PLEASE HELP!!!! Is there anyway to start from scratch without CD?
And can I use any Windows CD??

    I have he same blue screen error;
    STOP:C000021A {Fatal System Error}
    The windows Logon Process system process terminated unexpectedly with a status of 0xc0000135 (0x00000000 0x00000000).
    The system has been shut down.
    So is there any way to get the system started another way because I have pictures that i need to get.
    And what if I cant find the disk that i got with the system, is there any other way to fix the error.

    I have a Dell Inspiron 8600 with the same stop error, c000021a {Fatal System Error}, that appears as Windows XP is loading, during the logon process. I have my original Dell reinstallation disc, but would like to avoid re-installing Windows if possible. I have read that this is likely a Windows XP registry problem. I have no bootable software with which to repair the problem with the registry, if that's the correct diagnosis.

If you have 2 memory sticks in system, remove one and try it. If you have the green recovery disk that dell sends with their systems, place in drive and have it boot. Select "R" for repair drive. Then select "1" then enter your admin password. If you did not place one on system, just hit enter. Then at the
C:\WinNT directory, type chkdsk /r then hit enter, and have chkdsk look for drive errors.
