Question about Acer TravelMate 4150LCi Notebook
I recently noticed that I have two adjacent spots on the lcd of my acer travelmate 4152. on light colors they appear slightly lighter, and when I shake the screen back and forth they wobble in a way that makes them look 3D, like bubbles. Otherwise just two rounds spots of discoloration.
Any idea what I'm looking at?
Your Licquid Crystal Display appears to have gone bad... much like a dead pixel in a TV, you get a dead spot on the display of your lcd that looks like a bubbe.
You need to have the screen replaced or you will have to live with the bubbles. If the PC is still under warranty I'd send it in for repair. You may be able to pick up an inexpensive replacement on eBay, but make sure you are careful if you replace the screen yourself.
