Hello kenny356, 1. If windows product goto start-control panel on the classic view in control panel look for power options, put to never standby and sleep. see if helps. 2. could be a heat issue? Still under warranty? Go here 3. Are you pressing a Fn and the f8 for external monitor? 4. Is it pluged into wall or running off of battery? Thank You kenny356 and call Toshiba if under warranty?
