Need to buy game/midi connector for ASUS P4S533-MX

Hi Jerry, click on this link: (This is from ASUS & includes a set of IDE cables).
http://estore.asus.com/shop/item.asp?itemid=209

Spend less money here: (Game Port Dual USB Bracket).
http://www.pugetsystems.com/store/item.php?cat=Cables+and+Adapters&id=3688&com=d41d8cd9

This is what is needed per manual bottom of page 1-18, & top of page 1-19 in your ASUS manual.
Need the manual for the P4S533-MX? Download from ASUS at this next link: http://support.asus.com/download/download.aspx?modelname=P4S533-MX&SLanguage=en-us

Enjoy Jerry!

ASUS P4S533-MX Motherboard

Does it have a built-in system beep buzzer? or else you need to connect one. The system beep has a code and will tell you if your video is not connected or your memory is not detected.
Try to make it boot even until the bios screen. Check your video card or your monitor connector. A single beep is a good sign that your motherboard has no problems. hope this helps

Whats the maximum power supply for ASUS P4S533-MX Motherboard

Hi,

The Asus P4S533-MX and all other motherboards for that matter consumes relatively low power (in terms of current requirement since the voltages fairly remains constant). What demands more power that has to be considered are the processor, video card, memories, and of course add ons such as the HD, DVD, and others. So rather than think in terms of "maximum power it can take", think of the highest you can get in terms of wattage. Power rating starts from 350 to as high as 650. I have heard of higher 750 + but havent had the chance yet to work with one.

Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.

Good luck and kind regards. Thank you for using FixYa.
