If the speakers work with test tones this has nothing to do with them and all to do with your attachment and setup of the sources.

Register and download the manual for free at retrevo.com

Stop guessing. Have you looked at all the manuals?

The other devices you're inquiring about are not named in your post. Name the makes and models first, then we'll look for the manuals. Then (maybe) find a solution. You could run them by the manufacturers' support sites or these guys...

Corolla acceleration drops It runs for 5-10 minutes and then slowly acceleration start dropping and smoke starts coming from somewhere in engine (front left side). I am not sure if fuel pump is gone or...

I would suggest you to check the following

1) Carburetter (Flooding/Linkages/Overflow/Butterfly Vanes)
i) Air-Filter Assy. open and clean, check for leaks/holes
ii) Fuel Delivery System
iii) Fuel Tank for rust/sediments
iv) The grime on the carb can be from regular running and if the carb floods, then gummy petrol smelling deposit.
v) Also Check the Distributor Advance/******.
vi) If there is grime inside the carb, then the air-filter has a leak.

2) For the transfer-case
2A) Check if the oil on the T-Case is gear-oil (sulphur smell) or black/brown Engine Oil.

2B)If it is Engine Oil then you may have a problem with your
i) Crank Case

ii) PCV Valve - Postive Crankcase Ventilation Valve

iii) Main Bearing Seals, this is the worst case, indicated by the clutch becoming slippery i.e engine oil on the clutch pate & Assy.

2A ii) Check and clean the Breather Plugs. If the Plugs are blocked, then while running, the oil heats up and the hot air/gasses cannot escape, thereby creating a High Pressure inside the T-Case and vent through the oil-seals or weaker joints (sealing).

iii) After Cleaning the Breather if there is Gear Oil on the T-Case after running, service the T-Case.

Engine runs away

there is a plastic vane that moves in response to the air flow created by the flywheel fan ... the faster the motor runs the more air and the more the vane is deflected .. the vane is connected to the throttle thru a spring .. as the vane is deflected it reduces the throttle setting to maintain a set speed (which is adjustable by a screw) ... if that vane becomes stuck by a leaf or twig then you lose that speed control .. also if it becomes disconnected from the throttle the engine will run away .. the manual on your generator will call that a "govener "

I have an 18 K unit with E7 error on heat mode

I just installed a YMGI brand mini-split AC and had exactly the same problem. AC worked fine, but when I tried using heat mode I would get an E7 error.

After talking to their tech support I discovered the problem. There was a separate cable that needed to be connected that I'd forgotten to hook up. This cable runs from the internal unit to the outdoor unit and connects a defrost sensor.

In my case I had totally missed that cable when I installed the unit. After running another line and connecting it the unit is now functioning normally.

If this is a new install, then make sure all your cables have been run. If it was previously working, then check to see if one of the cables had become disconnected. If it's not the cable, then it's probably the sensor.

Good luck

Hook cable box to this receiver

I have similar situation with my TXDS 565 and could not video out of my unit after hooking up the cables properly in and out of the unit for all auxilary modules... I assume that you have tried to place your vid IN from the cable box to your units vid IN and run a vid OUT cable or S cable to your TV. If this doesn't work for you as it did not for me, then you must run your cable direct to the TV vid IN and run your audio out from the TV audio Out back to your reciever as audio IN in the Video I or II ports on the reciever unit. This will give you audio control through the rec. unit.

I suspect that my is damaged and will not function properly; yours may be too,

My unit is about 10 years old and repair is too expensive so I will run it this way until something else fails and I will replace it... probably not Onkyo.,'

Let me know if I clearify any of this.

PCI Card for SATA I VS SATA II

There are many PCI SATA controller cards out there. Just know that the SATA will not run at the SATA II standard. This is because you're motherboard may not support the bus speed for the SATA II or SATA I. If you current motherboard does not have a SATA port built on it, than your not going to see the speed the drive is able to run. Click this link (a Google search for PCI SATA II controller cards). http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=PCI+SATA+II+controller+cards&btnG=Search

Watch out for PCI-X. This is not the same as a PCI slot.
PCI-X slots are only found on motherboards that have SATA I & SATA II slots on them. These PCI-X slots are the smaller SATA slots found inbetween PCI-Express sloted boards.
Promise controller cards make some of the best controller cards on the market.
