The motherboard is faulty. It is very frequent problem with the entire HP The motherboard have to be replaced. You may find the correct part number under the RAM when you open its cover on the bottom.Order it from ebay. It is probably the chipset IC get lost contact with the board but it is hard to resolder and the success is rare.
You will have to take apart the entire laptop to replace the motherboard. Start with the battery, covers, HDD, panel with the power button, keyboard. Then remove the screen lid from the base. (Do not take apart the lid, just detach it)
Then remove all screws on the back and take out the upper cover with the touch pad. Remove the DVD, the fan, the heatsink and the processor. What will left is the case with the board. Remove the screws and take it out. Assemble with the new motherboard in the reverse order.

This is usually due to a problem of hardware components in your motherboard, may be some have to be replaced. Its would be better to consult a techician.

Aoc monitor won't turn on

the power supply has a capacitor which has either opened up or shorted across. If you open it up and look at the caps (round cylindar looking things), you might see some that look like they have "balooned". If the top of them is not flat and the cylindar is warped at all, that part needs to be replaced..
These are what always goes wrong with monitors, so give it a whirl and you will probebly save yours..

Monitor goes blank less than a second after turning on.

Sounds like either there is a bad connection from the computer to the monitor, or the monitor has a faulty power regulator, causing the monitor to overheat prematurely, and shut off.

Make sure it is properly plugged into your computer too. (blue headed cord) should go from the screen to the computer. Make sure the cord is not damaged.

There should be a total of two cords needed (one for power (black) and (one from the computer to screen (usually blue))

TV Not turning on , but blue power light is on

look in the back, see if the lamp is actually lit. If it is probably not a tv problem. If you can pull up the menu then you probably are on the wrong input. Are the fans running when you turn it on? IF fans are running might be lamp, if nothing is seen through the back.

Stuck in power saver

Try the unlock procedure: With the monitor on press and hold the "MENU button for abot five seconds and see if it resets. If that doesn't work tell me a bit more about the screen - is there any OSD (on screen display) or error messages? Is the power indicator light on? If so, what color is it? Blue indicates that that you may need to turn the brightness and contrast up...\ If it is actually in power save the indicator light will be amber. What color is it? If the light is amber and all the connections to the computer are correct and it still won't come-up then it's an internal problem and the protect circuit may be keeping the screen from lighting. Good luck... And let me know. Bill
