Battery will not charge just says battery critically low and turns off

make sure your charger cable is seated all the way and the light(usually blue) on the charger is on,let it charge for an hr. before trying to turn it on. If it still doesn't charge try another charger of the same type with it as your charger may not be working. If your sure your outlet is ok{powers other devices} then you can see if the fuse in your charger has blown, replace as needed.Any automotive store has replacement fuses of this type.

No power at all

A couple of things to check and a couple of questions to help me (or somebody else help you further)

No power. Is this using both battery and mains to power?
Is there an LED light on the ac adaptor and if so is it steady or flashing?

If there is a flashing LED light, it means that the power is not completing the circuit to the laptop
(internal fault with laptop, may be a blown mainboard fuse)

If the charger light is steady, then power is getting to the laptop. Check the security of the DC jack port where it enters the laptop, of wobbly or loose, this will need replacing. Some are soldered onto the board, others are held in place by a clip and connect to the board via a wire, worth checking the wire to motherboard connections as these can fail.

If the jack port is firm and you are getting power to the laptop from the charger, test, with a multimeter set to DV volts (19 volts) by touching the red terminal to the inner of the adaptor jack and the black terminal to the outer of the jack. Low voltage readings indicate the charger is not outputting the right voltage

Remove battery and test using mains alone
Remove mains and test using battery alone

If the battery was known to be charged and will not power up the laptop, the fault is more serious than just a blown fuse. If the steps above fail to solve the problem, you will need to take the laptop to a repair shop for testing of the motherboard.

If this advice did not help PLEASE do not leave any feedback "thumbs".

I'm borrowing a Jet 3 Ultra from the local Am. Legion for my Mom to use. They know nothing about it except they were told it had a new battery. I plug it in and all the LED's light up with the...

The batteries need charging and when you plug in the charger and the power is on the lights wil flash indicating that the charger is plugged in. Now look at the rear of the chair near where the charger cord plugs into the chair and you should see a voltmeter. With the charger plugged in the voltmeter will indicate about 5-6 amps and after charging overnight the voltmeter should be reading 0 amps. If when you plug in the charger cord and the voltmeter indicates 0 amps then I would suspect that the charger is not working or that the fuse is blown in the charger circuit. The only way to see if the batteries charge would be to borrow or find an offboard charger that will plug into the charger port located under the front of the joystick and after charging for 10-12 hours see if the battery level lights show full charge Hope this helps

I have a powerware 9120 (6kva) and about 1 week i replaced all 20 batteries after the UPS failed. but its displaying battery disconnected when i try to power it. i cant seem to figure the problem. i tried...

Did your UPS display "Battery disconnected" or did it display "Battery Failure"? If it was "Battery Failure", for some reason the Powerware 9120 will take almost 18 hours after plugging in to power after battery replacement to correct the Battery Failure indication. Charger has to charge up the batteries, followed by an automatic battery test by the UPS. If the indication was "Battery Disconnected", you will need to check the internal fuses to see if they are blown. If the UPS keeps blowing fuses, it will require a board repair.

Battery won't charge. Tried two differnent power adapters. No power to unit

Does the charge light flash on for a second when you plug in the charger? Does the ds fail to turn on? If so it is probably a blown fuse you can repair this. Check out video
Good luck

Hooveround cv5 two years old. Can get no help from them. has batteries about 6 months old. lights on the joystick work but the lights on the battery charger are off. don't know how to troubleshoot

seeelsie Check the charger's fuse located on the front of the case. If you don't see one then you might have to take it apart to see if there is a fuse inside the charger. Check it to make sure it hasn't blown. If you are getting no lights when you plug it into the wall outlet (at least the red light should be lit) if not and you can't find a fuse then you will have to replace the charger. Maybe you know someone with a chair that has an external charger you could borrow for a few hours to charge your chair until you can get one. any external or offboard charger will work so look around for the best deal. Hope this helps

Pride Jet 2 power chair with with 3 red and 3 yellow lights flashing. Batteries checked ok under load, all connections have been checked. I moved the chair and it would not move again. Just that quick.

Hi. The fault code you have is called the "Inhibit active".
It can be caused by a blown charger fuse, which causes the charger inhibit to activate.
Also if the 3-pin charger inhibit connector is not plugged in properly, or the connector is faulty, then the charger inhibit feature will activate.
Hope this helps. Neil.

Canon power shot G5 wont power on but the range finder assist type light on the front flashes :( new battery new charger...any help would be apreciated. Cant find a refrence to this problem anywhere...

Possibly there may be a loose screw inside the camera, floating loose. Vifration over the years can knock it loose. Likely a fuse is blown and the screw needs to come out. Contact canon about a repair.
