Question about Apple iPhone 3G
I am afraid your only choice is to restore your phone. If you try and do a restore normally in iTunes it will ask you for your passcode, so instead you are going to have to put your iPhone into recovery mode.
With your phone on and connected to iTunes hold both the home and power button on the top. Count to ten then release the power button but continue to hold the home button. Remain holding the home button until iTunes detects an iPhone in recovery mode and tells you that you must restore.
Once you have restored be careful not to let iTunes trick you into restoring a backed up iPhone, as that backup will contain your passcode and you will be back where you began!
Hope this helps!
