Hi, Well this might be helpful. They are having this issue (Sony) still and they were unable to help most of the clients. The User Interface is the component which gives the issue. There are several reasons.

  1. A compatibility issue with the Operating System. You have to Download the Latest from here especially if you are using Windows 7.
  2. A permission problem (If you are not the Administrator). You have to check the Taskmanager and have to verify whether the application is Up and Running. Or please try Right clicking and selecting Run As (then choose "The following user" and Run as the Administrator).
  3. Some of the users were facing Cookie issues. Please read here if you have functional issues with the reader related with Internet Cookies.
  4. Finally, if you are unable to solve the matter, please do the following.
  • Uninstall the Digital Editions of Adobe.
  • Rename this folder.
  • C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Sony Corporation\Reader.
  • You will have to Re Sync the Reader.
Please rate the answer as well!
If this didn't solve the issue you have to contact the Customer Care of eReader (Sony) since we will not be able to address this issue. It is beyond our scope. An engineer will assist you through the process. E reader Customer Care Use the Contact Us link.
Good Luck! Thanks for using Fixya!

How do I get my books to show when I turn on my kindle?

Try the Kindle help forums first--many people came up with this issue, too: http://www.amazon.com/gp/help/customer/forums/kindleqna/ref=cs_hc_k_search_res?ie=UTF8&forumID=Fx1FI6JDSFEQQ7V&cdThread=Tx1VTQ0YFWOR10&cdPage=1&cdMsgId=Mx1XOJEGA7I9SBB#Mx1XOJEGA7I9SBB

Note the common solution.

Help forums are great friends for those with issues concerning electronic devices: If you can't find the answers you need in the relevant support forum, perhaps the device is defective or dead.

Refund/RMA still possible? Hard reset? (That may be what the forum indicated as the answer above, )

If I reinstall itunes will I lose my entire music library?

Hello there and welcome here

It is always good to have a backup or a copy of the library. I did find this link for you and they say :

"You will not lose the music as others have said,

but you will lose the library, which is an .xml file if i recall. all the library does is links itunes to where all of the files have been stored on your pc/mac.

If you reinstall itunes you would have to copy all of the music back into itunes creating a new library file, that would just take a while depending on how much music you have.

In the itunes menus there is an option to backup your library if you plan to reinstall itunes. "

AND in the itunes support site, they just answer with a no
link:

So this you have to do, "I recommend you" is to find the backup option on itunes and backup your library of music, after you just copy it to a folder of your wish, you find the solution for this here:

Hope that helps
