    Thank you for the information.

    I have a couple of follow-up questions:

What are the 3 sensors, they appear to read like diodes?

Do you know what the reading should be for each pin?

Do you think the damage to one of them would cause the problem I have with the SE code?

Do you think this is fixable, or do I need a new part?

I have located a motor approx £100, but the sensor does not seem to be available separately, do you know of anywhere I can get just the sensor?

I have attached some images also.

    Many Thanks.

The error is most likely SE and is caused by a faulty sensor in the motor.

The sensors control the rotation on the motor. I do not have the output specifications readily available. Since the part is plastic I don't think it would be worth trying to repair. Best bet would probably be to get a new or used motor.

I believe that when 5e is displayed it means to check the debris filter which is usually located at the bottom right hand side of washer and don't forget to drain the washer first!

Also, is there anything that would suggest the machine is otherwise not running properly?

I would also try to reset it by unplugging it or tripping the circuit breaker.

Let me know if you need more help and I would be glad to assist you further with this.

thank you

If anyone could sell the individual sensor, I believe LG would, try calling them at 1-800-243-0000

Hi

The CE is for Child lock system error. i just had one on my WD-1049C. It is a system used to prevent children from pressing the buttons.

the way I fixed it on mine is by holding the temp button and the option button at the same time.

Error message UE is displayed and the machine has stopped

UE means unbalanced load. This happens when the load is too small, or the appliance is tilted, laundry is gathered to one side, non distributed things are put into the drum.
