i use windows 7. my mother board is mercury pi945gcm . i installed sigmatel audio drivers. but they are not working properly. i got stacgui:speaker manager plugin failed in a alert box.
No very common that you can take a computer from XP all the way up through Windows 7. most likely there is no driver available for windows 7 to drive your audio card.

if cd is not auto run due to unmatching of driver
then manually open the cd that is browse cd
go to driverrs and install them manually,if still not installed then try to upgradew your driver by giving location of your cd
