Hi, the only RED button at the right hand side of the button pad is the ON/OFF button. Hold the power/end call button down until it starts shutting on/down. You will know it is when the screen changes and then you can let go....
hi..ur motorola v3i is defaulted with 7 to 10 hrs of battery life only...o save more power...
Keep the brightness on the screen to a minimum. You can also adjust how long the backlight stays on without input from the user.
Turn off the Bluetooth when not in use. Bluetooth is a big battery draw.
Disable incoming beams so that the phone isn't constantly "searching" for infrared partners.
Completely close non-essential programs. When you run an application, it does not shut down completely when you "close" it. It is simply minimized. Go into the Settings to completely shut down any programs you are no longer using
also u cud get a car charger so that u cud be sure not to run out of juice..

hi...ur motorola v3i selects camera when u havnt closed the application fully earlier or when u press the side button accidently...the other applications shud have not been closed properly before you flipped the top....try shutting down and use ur mobile along with a case...that will help

dis assembled your phone and clean with locker thinker al interface of your keypad and wipe with cotton cloth until it dry if not working again you better seek a phone tech.i hope it will help you....
Chances are that your battery is malfunctioning or dying. Try your battery in another phone or another battery in your phone to identify the problem. If another battery works fine in your phone, then the problem is with the battery. If your battery works fine in another phone, then the problem may lie in the phone. Good luck!
