If you don't have the quick connect wiring harness that you can get pretty much anywhere that the units are sold, get one. Then you have to make sure that your wiring is correct, speaker wires are always labeled by color and then name in a manual.

Where is the fuse on a mod# SMH1816S microwave

The next thing to check is the safety fuse inside the unit.

Here is a generic video explaining how to replace a power fuse on a microwave. Note that some special tools (ohm meter), skill and safety precautions are required to attempt this repair. If you are uncomfortable working on appliances or other electrical apparatus, it's best to consult a repair company. Your microwave may not appear exactly as the unit shown in the video.

I have a Fisher RS-909 Surrond Sound amplifier. It has no "sub out" jack. I had the sub-woofer working in the past by wiring it as shown in the manual. The problem is that the system was in...

Alright i had a chance to look over things, this is how you are going to hook up the sub. first we'll be connecting the surround sound unit to the sub woofer.
surround sound unit sub woofer
left front: positive (+) <-----to------------->(+) left speaker level in
negative ( - )<- - -to- - - - - - ->( - ) left speaker level in

right front: positive (+) <-----to------------->(+) right speaker level in
negative ( - )<- - -to- - - - - - >( - ) right speaker level in

now that the surround sound unit is connected to the sub woofer you will need to connect the front surround sound speakers to the sub woofer.
sub woofer front surround sound speaker
left speaker level out (+)<-----to--------> (+) left front speaker
left speaker level out( - ) <- - - to- - - - ->( - ) left front speaker

right speaker level out (+)<-----to--------> (+) right front speaker
right speaker level out( - ) <- - - to- - - ->( - ) right front speaker

Alright now that the wires are all over the place and plugged in
turn everything on and see how it sounds. let me know if everything is working as it should. if you need help with anything else or if something does not seem right please feel free to contact me via e-mail or phone

Hi, I have a Panasonic sa-ht870 DVD home cinema system to which the remote has stopped working however the front 2 speakers still work and so do the controls on the DVD player. I bought a new remote and...

Is it a universal 'Generic' remote or dedicated Panasonic for the SA-HT870?
If generic, it may not have compatible firmware built in for Surround function.
If dedicated, check menu settings and OP manual - there may be an option that is disabled there.

I have the stereo except for speakers sony SA-H7900. what to do

hi ,
as far as i understood you, you need speakers for the stereo mhc-h7900? so the originals are the sa-h7900, active (built in mono amplifier) and they have electrostatic tweeter plus some special kind of bass-control system called i not remember now. in this case maybe impossible to find some, but you can connect any kind of "active" speakers, even a crappy active 2+1 subwoofersystem would do it to get a sound out of it.

Receiver makes clicking sound before power shuts off. i checked all speaker connections for shorts per troubleshooting!

What you are hearing is the speaker protection relays. See the link below for a generic explanation of protect mode (the mode your unit is in at the moment.) Update this if you have some test gear and wish to attempt to repair this.

Can I wire just the speakers without the original dvd/amp to a different amp/system because of the wiring? It has a S-cable type. Thanks

If the main unit had a left and right audio out, yes, but if you want true surround sound,the speakers will have to be wired to the original main unit.
