BenQ monitor Q7T4

Hi; i'm looking for ID of ic701, what is it and what replaces it.
PC Board shows it has been very hot above this IC which is mounted on the bottom.
Monitor comes on briefly then goes off - maybe 20 seconds on 1st try.
Just a couple of seconds next try.
Thanks

THis sounds similar to my problem as well. After i turn on my computer and my monitor heats up, it looks like the H output fails and the video folds up into a vertical line, then expands back out, folds up and expands back out...again and again and again. Pretty soon there's no video and you can just hear a relay clicking and the on light goes on and off, on and off. etc...

.I found that my AT video card fan in the PC froze up and the card overheateded big time.. I figured that this was to cause for the video on my m991 folding up but after I changed the video card out in the PC, the M991 exhibited the same symptoms! Hmmm. Maybe the bad video card caused some components on the video circuit board inthe M991 to go bad? Does anyone know where I can get a schematic for the M991 video card?

The part your after is THIS

It sounds like it's possible this is causing the problem since it provides the 3.3v supply to the video/logic board and without that being stable it will not work.

If you send me an email I will send you a schematic that should help you.

use another monitor with your pc to make sure your graphic card is working and

connect that benq monitor (to double check it is ok) another pc

find out if the clicking comes from the monitor or the pc tower,
if yes from the tower than your video card fails.
exchange it with another and replug benq monitor, boot up.that should solve the prob
