You should empty the lint filter. The lint filter catches all the lint from your clothes and will need cleaned occassionally. I clean my lint filter after every load. Towels usually clog the filter faster than other clothes.

DRYER HAS NO HEAT. TUMBLER TURNS OK. LINT FILTER CLEAN.

Make sure the dryer exhaust tube is clear of lint and not kinked. Next thing I would check are the thermal fuse and thermostat. Check this out: http://removeandreplace.com/2013/09/21/fix-clothes-dryer-heating-drying-clothing/

Hoover washer dryer Error Code E12 during dry programme. How can I fix?

E12 means a problem filling on dry cycle.

Unplug the appliance, take the top off and check that the plastic condenser below the fan is clear and clean.

If this is ok, the most likely fault is the triple valve isn't opening properly to feed water into the condenser.

I have model 110.60832990 and the dryer is on the drum is turning, the heat is on but the clothes are not drying.

Check the air outlet and see it is not clogged with dirt/flint. Clean the air filter mesh located at the air outlet of flint. This blocks the free flow of air and thus do not dry the clothes. Drying will take place when the air inside has free flow. Before putting clothes in the dryer EVERYTIME this filter must be cleaned OR after every drying cycle.

Dryer keeps drying long after clothes are actually dry.

Bad timer most likely, remove power and check continuity on the timer motor. Verify movement of dial.

After a drying cycle the clothes are still wet. We set it on the normal cycle and switch it to Extra dry so it is running for about 59 minutes. After the dryer stops the clothes are still very wet. It...

Hello,

If this is a vented dryer then check all the filters in the machine also check the vent hose is not blocked on the machine in the hose itself and where the pipe goes out of the wall.If it is a condenser dryer the filters need checking and the condenser box in the base of the machine. If none of this is successful then it could be a fault with the heater or the programmer.

Hope this helped.

Dryer turns on and rotates. However, does not dry clothes completely. Cycle signals wet, then damp, cool down and finally dry,but clothes are still wet. Sometimes the dryer works fine and completely dries...

This problem may be the result of a dirty lent filter which if clogged will short cycle the dryer and the clothes will still be damp when done. Also a dirty exhaust pipe (usally 4") will prevent the clothes from drying correctly. Make sure that the air is leaving the machine. To do this you have to go outside when the machine is running.

The check filter light is on. The clothes are not

The check filter light, is default message LG was put in place. No problem there. As for the clothes, I'd need some more infomation, what settings are you using on your dryer? I'll need to know if your using sensor dry, or manual dry.

THE DRYER IS NOT DRYING THE WASH, CAN I FIX IT MYSELF?

Two easy things to check and fix, even if you are not handy with tools, is the lint filter and the air flow discharge.

If the lint filter isn't emptied after every load, it will diminish the dryer's ability to dry clothes which means higher costs in electricity and / or gas.

Also, the air flow discharge hose attached to the rear of the dryer with a clamp that can be loosened with a screw driver can fill up with lint and reduce or stop air flow; also diminishes the dryer's ability to dry the clothes.

Besides making it more expensive to dry a load of clothes, lint build-up in the lint trap and / or the discharge vent is a serious fire hazard.
