Problem with memory stick micro m2

How do i use the memory stick micro on my pc... it does have the ability to read cards flash, mmc, sd and all but when i inser my memory stick micro into the port that is for mmc/sd the green light flashes but the computer does not read the contents or the device itself plz help

    i have a sony vio running vista. it will not recognise the Sandisc SD card???

Is the card being read on the other device like camera/mobile etc.

if yes than card is okay

its the pc which is not compatible with your card. in this case u cannot do much but buy a card reader costing 5 usd

Where do I put in SanDisk M2 adapter in the computer


The adapter goes into an SD card slot. It looks like this:

If you don't have a slot you will need a USB sd adapter..you can get one here:

microSD card?
Sony cellphones don't use microSD, they use Sony memory stick micro (up to 4GB), Also called an "M2" card.

Computer does not recognize the M2 micro memory stick san disk


1. It means your computer is not able to access your phone!

2. Memory card seems to be working properly!

3. Try to reinstall the phone driver software on your computer.

4. Restart the system and check again!

vivek,

try to insert your m2 memory card to other card reader device and check if it can be recognized. then scan for possible virus infection or reformat your m2 memory card.

if still no change, clean the contact pin from your m2 card. use metal folish liquid solutions to clean the copper contact pin of m2 card.
