Replace your regulator. You can purchase a regulator at most stores that sell grills.

My Uniflame grill may have a clog somewhere through the fuel delivery system, or at the the tank connection, how would I be able to find the culprit?

Hi boltbucrayfa...
I think your culprit is the gas regulator valve...
If it is not working properly then it will not deliver the proper amount of gas to the burners.
Check all your burners to make sure they are not plugged...
The when you are outside away from Flames and ignition sources.
Remove the hose from the the gas to the grill (you have the hose off the grill) and listen to the flow of gas...if it is very low then there is your problem.
You can shut off the flow of gas, then tap the gas regulator on the sides, top and bottom lightly with a hammer and then turn back on the gas to see if the gas flow increased...if it did, then shut off the gas and rehook up the gas line to the grill..and your good to go grilling again.
Some gas regulators have an adjustment under the removable cap.
If the gas flow did not increase, the replace the gas regulator

I,m unable to start the grill. new gas bottle, every thing attached. It seems like there is no gas flow as I can't even start with a match. Can the gs regulator get stuck so there is no flow?

Hi ircatlin...

To answer your question if the gas regulator can get stuck...the answer is YES.

Check to make sure gas is getting thru the do this disconnect the hose going to the burner controls...turn on the gas at the tank and listen and smell for gas coming out...if there is no gas coming out, you can sometimes tap lightly the gas regulator and it will free the sticking valve inside and let the gas flow...if the tapping does not work, the replace your regulator as it is faulty.

I have a SureFire Grill (SF30HOLP) that I recently converted to NG. For some reason the gas will flow through the regular and light, but at times I am not getting gas through the regulator. I have a...

I would try replacing the regulator, not very expensive and easy to do, first. If that doesn't fix the problem, call the gas company and see if there is a flow problem to the line itself. I have worked on grills that were operating properly, but there just wasn't enough gas flow in the line for the grill.

I suddenly am not getting any gas flow why ?

Could be many reasons there;

1) Ran out of gas pressure from cylinder. Replace cylinder.
2) Solenoid valve not opening or clogged. Replace solenoid valve.
3) regulator closed or faulty. Open regulator to adjust flow. or replace it.
4) Gun connector not pushed all way in.
5) Gun liner's gasket (o'ring) at end of gun missing or broken.

Pilot lights get almost no gas flow to the burner.

Probably a bad regulator or regulator needs adjusting. Call your natural gas company to do this.

Have gas at inlet but no flow at burners

If your grill has a regulator on it and you get gas before the regulator, but not at the burners, then your regulator is probably bad. If there is no regulator, or you get gas flow after the regulator, then you may have a blockage in the orifice(s) in the valves or the venturis in the burners.

Gas Range has inconsistent gas flow

From what you've described and what I understand; the only part that requlates the gas flow "low or intermitten gas flow/pressure" is the "gas pressure regulator" located where the incoming gas flex-line connects directly.

The pressure regulator is about 3" x 3" metal square blockish' type device and can be replaced fairly easy. However, if and when replacing the pressure regulator, ensure you are using the proper gas - yellow teflyon tape of pipe dope paste to thread in the new part.

What is the model number of the range? (free standing - gas pilot only)

(The above suggestion is assuming you have the proper gas supply pressure to your home/range)

Gas Flow

suspect problem is with the regulator on the gas bottle as it would be unusual for all burners to be faulty at the same time. try substituting a new regulator
