Lennox XC21 (7 yrs old) compressor motor does not turn fan blades

Check the motor by hand to see if it turns freely, if it does then the issue is the motor controller not being able to sense where the motor is. Check for 240 Volts on the red wires and then check for 24 volts dc between black and blue and black and yellow.

Air condition motor not going on

check to see if the fan is running if not it has frozen up over the winter. turn off fuses to a/c unit then try to turn fan by hand,if not soak down fan bearings with penetrating oil like PB Blaster keepmoving fan blade back and forth until it spins freely. Then try turning on the power to a/c unit if motor then turns fan freely , shut it down again and use a good coat of a-1 motor oil (ELECTRICAL) on the fan brgs. This should get you through for another year or so. On the other hand if fan will not spin by the motor now but spins by hand then the fan motor is bad.

My 900 em do oven keeps over heating and switching off

follow thes steps and fix it.God bless you
Exhaust Fan Motor

If the exhaust fan does not run the fan motor might be bad. Remove the fan motor from the microwave oven and see if the blades can be turned by hand. They should turn very freely, if they're stiff the fan motor will need to be replaced. The fan motor can also burn out. To test this use an Ohm meter. The motor should have continuity. If it doesn't, replace it.
Thermostat

If the microwave exhaust fan is not working the thermostat might be defective. The thermostat senses the air temperature and turns on the fan as needed, if it's defective it won't turn on the fan. Watch our video on testing thermostats.
Main Control Board

If the microwave exhaust fan is not working check the exhaust fan motor and wiring. If they are good the main control board might be defective.1_24_2013_5_50_54_pm.gif1_24_2013_5_53_00_pm.jpg

Air conditioner fan will not turn on outside. Rudd model# UPKA-025JAZ

Outdoor condensing fan motor has stopped running. This problem could be caused by a bad motor run capacitor. bobicehouse_41.jpg
If your motor capacitor is not the problem, then more than likely you need a new motor. Is the fan blade tight, stiff or hard to turn? If the fan blade is hard to turn then you probably need a new motor.

Hampton Bay 36" Fan Hums but won't turn

The motor has gotten tired now after being on 24/7. With the blades off, it would turn easily but the weight of the blades strain the motor. You could check that there is proper 110 volt current to the motor because anything less will cause that problem too. You can also help the fan start by spinning the blades while it is on. Short of these suggestions, it is time for a new fan.
