Computer boots up but wireless keyboard and mouse not recognized. Hard wired wont work either. I have the Model 5187utf and the HP Pavillion m7050e computer.

Try the wireless keyboard/mouse on another computer, to verify that they are working correctly.

Try the "hard-wired" keyboard/mouse on another computer, to verify that they are working correctly.

If so, then it's your computer's motherboard that needs to be replaced (exact replacement or an upgrade).

Wireless keyboard & mouse will not connect

Would try going into the device manager in the control panel and make sure that the usb dongle is being identified correctly by windows. Also, would unplug any other usb devices so that they are not interfering.

Mouse not clickking

Try the mouse (and its wireless receiver) on another computer.
If it still will not "click", then the hardware inside the mouse is the problem, and you will need to repair/replace the mouse.

Good morning! please check/review the cable connector connections of you're mouse & keyboard, it might be interchanged to its proper port terminal. If still not working, try to use another mouse & keyboard. best regards

Keypad lights flash, wont open with code. Wall button and remote work.

You need to do a remote and opener re synch, because your rolling synch codes were lost when you replaced the batteries. Go to manufacturers web site for re program instructions.

My wireless optical mouse is no longer working

You replaced the batteries. Okay. Did you install drivers for the mouse from a CD? Are you using Windows XP? Do you notice any change if you use the mouse on a darker surface as opposed to lighter surface? If the computer installed the drivers for you, then you might want to delete them in Device Manager (might be called something like HID-Compliant Mice. Single click on that entry, press the delete key. You might have to reboot your PC after that. From there you might have to unplug, then plug in the mouse again and you should notice the driver reinstalling. Give it a second and all should be good.

*Access the Device Manager by right-clicking on My Computer, select Properties, go to the Hardware tab and select Device Manager.

I have purchased a Microsoft Wireless Optical Desktop 700 (Keyboard & mouse). I have plugged the wireless receiver in, and get a flashing green light when I press the button on the front. The green...

When you say you pressed the connect buttons on both the keyboard and mouse, do you mean you pressed the connect button on the receiver, and then you pressed the connect buttons on the mouse and keyboard? If not, then that's what you have to do. The 30 seconds of blinking on the receiver is normal, as it gives you time to find and press the buttons on the mouse and keyboard.

I hope this helps, and good luck!
