Hp vista and monitor hp2509 was working fine. i uninstalled monitor driver but now computer starts fine but monitor goes blank

Monitor drivers are built into windows OS, you can't uninstall the driver unless you went to devise MGR, monitor, and opened proprieties and hit uninstall, and even then when you restart windows, it will auto reinstall the hardware. So what you're saying does not make sense.

If you reboot and noting, try a system restore, if you have a windows disk, then run repair. But like I said, you don't install monitor drivers, DVD rom drivers, these are generic drivers that are made into windows. If you think a monitor has a driver that needs installing, explain how people install windows if they couldn't see the monitor.

Only onboard video and graph cards need drivers to run the video at its intended resolution, but it does not need a driver for the monitor, it's built into windows.

We have purchased two e950Sw LED 18.5 monitors to replace the crt monitors on two of our computers. Old monitors worked fine. Both of these monitors when hooked up get the "No signal" message....

Hello,

Your old monitors might have had a higher screen resolution or and incomparable resolution for your new monitors.
Probably the easiest way to get them to work is to plug the old monitors in then go to your control panel / display and set the resolution to 1366 x 768 as this is the native resolution of the e950Sw LED.

My monitor is a couple years old. All of a sudden, I have these pinkish dotted horizontal lines on the screen. I've checked the connection and powered down several times, but it didn't help. Is there...

Hi there !

I believe it is a monitor driver issue, I suggest that you upgrade your monitor driver using internet connection to get the latest driver or install again the monitor driver that comes from your CD.

Normally when there is problem on hardware like your monitor, the drivers are mostly affected. I believe the monitor driver is corrupt that cause an error in your monitor.

Try to upgrade by going to control panel, click the view by large icon, choose on device manager, choose monitors, on the submenu of that monitor, press right click to view the update driver software, just click that to get driver updates through internet. After updates finished, restart your computer to take effect the new setting and try to check if it solves your problem.

I need a new driver for my soyo monitor

Your soyo monitor doesn't require a driver. Make sure you download and install the latest driver for your video card and during the install of that, your monitor should have its drivers installed as well. At that point you'll be able to use your monitor properly. There isn't any drivers available on the net that I could find. Only other option is if your monitor came with a cd, that might have drivers on it.

Need free assistant to know if my Princenton VL1918 monitor still is OK - Screen blinks every 5 secods, not able to work.

Hello,

Blinking power lights or flashing screens usually indicates a blown power supply. Heat buildup in the monitor case causes parts called capacitors to overheat and blow out. Check out our web site at: www.ccl-la.com/badcaps.htm We have pictures of what the blown capacitors look like. Open the back of your monitor and look for the blown caps. Replace all the ones that look like the ones in the pictures and you should be back up and running. The values you need to get are going to be marked on the sides of the ones you take out. Be sure to reinstall the new ones with the polarity stripe going the same direction as the old ones come out. You can order replacement parts from several places on the internet or we can supply them for you. You will need to use high temp caps that will be marked 105c, these are not available from Radio Shack. If you use ones that are not rated correctly then you will have more issues in a month or two. If you don't want to do the repair yourself we do offer a repair service for $35 plus return shipping.

I hope this helps, If so please rate our solution.

BRAND NEW MONITOR OUT OF THE BOX? DRIVER WILL NOT LOAD. DRIVER WONT LOAD FOR HP W2007 WIDE LCD MONITOR (32 BIT) HAVE DISK. (STILL WILL NOT LOAD)

This monitor doesn't need a driver installed. If you can see an image on it, you don't need the driver for it. Windows will install the default monitor driver, and that works for 99.99% of monitors on the market. You need to go into the Display control panel and change your resolution. If the monitor's native resolution isn't available as an option in the control panel, it's because your video card can't display it, not the monitor's fault.

Need a driver for superscan pro 800

the monitor doesn't need a driver, you are most likely missing display adapter drivers from your computer or can you explain why do you need a driver for your monitor? I've never installed drivers for my monitors in the last 10 years.

No driver

Monitors do not need drivers, the drivers are used on the video display adapter.

If monitor does not display full definition, then it is the display adapter driver.

If the monitor does not display anything, then the monitor is faulty or the cable is not well connected or faulty.

Provide video adapter model to get drivers for your video adapter.
