How can I get the soap to draw into the stream?

You need to use your black chemical tip if you have a switchable tip system on your wand...if your tip is the big plastic variable nozzle type, it pushes either in or out for low pressure chemical application...also, if you have the variable nozzle...go to a service center and replace it with a Quick disconnect and the switchable tip system...those varinozzles are bad for going bad and not working...Good luck

Chemical wont siphon

In most cases this is because you have a high pressure tip, the red, white, yellow or green tip, on the wand. The detergent system will only work if you have the black, soap tip on the wand. With a pressure tip on the wand, there is too much back pressure for the syphon system to work. If you are using the soap tip, check the feed tube for the detergent for blockage, especially at the pickup filter and where it attaches to the water line.

I have a unionpower up 150 premium pressure washer theirs a small hose that comes out at the back of the engine with a small filter at the end of the hose pipe I dont no what its for

If the hose actually comes out of the pump (look carefully) it sounds like the chemical pick up line. It would most likely be clear plastic tubing with a plastic filter at the end. You drop this into your chemical (soap, etc) container and under low pressure it will siphon the chemical and apply it through the wand.

Leaking at valve handle for broadcast

This happens a lot. Sometimes it's just the hose connection to the wand. If that appears to be the leaking spot, remove the band clamp, take off the hose, and cut off the last 1" of the rubber hose so you get a fresh end. Push the freshly cut end onto the wand, and tighten the band clamp. Did that fix it? If not, you'll need to replace the wand, but they aren't too costly. You'll find some on this page . Good luck! Please rate my solution if helpful, thanks.

Need replacement part for 16-gal sprayer. It's the part that connects the hose to the gun -- hose end is broken off. What is this called and where can I get one?

The spray wand has a short plastic tube that the rubber hose slides over. Here's what it should look like, if it's not broken: 4bc420c.jpg
A 'band clamp' goes over the rubber hose to tighten it onto that little tube. If the band clamp is missing, you can get one at a hardware store - just find the size that fits over the rubber hose. If the rubber hose end is torn or cracked, just make a new clean cut with a knife.
But if the plastic tube has broken off the wand, you need to get a new wand. Good news - it's not expensive. This one's only 8 bucks.
Hope that helps you, if so please rate my solution, thanks and good luck!

Low pressure spray only

likely the ruber o ring is broken in the gun take the triger assembly apart and inspect also remember that if a piece is missing look down the barrel of the wand
likely it will be a piece of ruber stuck in the end of the wand

Clogged and can't get the weed killer to pass through the power wand

Hold the sprayer lower than the tank and run it until it sprays. You're done. They seem to lose prime, it usually happens to me when I run it completely out and/or first use (almost year round for us). Mine works fine every time I do this.
If that doesn't work, check the filter on the end of the hose in the tank, blow compressed air through it - NOT BY MOUTH!! Also check for any leaks/pinholes/kinks in the hose - they will **** air instead of solution!
I've had mine for 3 seasons in Phoenix and love it! I've n never had any of the other problems I listed personally. Handle the liquids like you handle gas for your lawn mower, etc:
1) Don't let any dirt to get in the solution.
2) Wash the system before storage ESPECIALLY AT END OF SEASON by spraying clean water through It for a couple of minutes or so and rinsing the tank. STORE INSIDE FOR THE WINTER if it freezes, it may trash it. Leaving anything stronger than Roundup (TM) in it for more than a week or so may eventually damage the plastics and/or seize the pump too.
